Rice Krispies aren't just for breakfast - they're the perfect ingredient to add into your kids mixing bowl when baking. They're gooey, chewy and perfect to mould into different shapes and sizes for the perfect treat for any age.

Method

  1. Step 1:

    Place the butter and syrup in a small pan and heat gently until the butter has melted.

  2. Step 2:

    Add the chocolate and stir until it has melted and the mixture is smooth.

  3. Step 3:

    Stir in the rice crispies until well coated in chocolate.

  4. Step 4:

    Line a muffin tray with muffin cases and spoon in the rice krispie mixture. Alternatively, you can line a baking tray with baking parchment and place rice krispie mixture onto the tray allow to set before cutting into squares.

  5. Step 5:

    Allow to cool in the fridge for 10 mins until firm.

    • 25g Butter (unsalted)
    • 2 tbsp Silver Spoon Golden Syrup
    • 150g Milk chocolate (milk or dark, chopped)
    • 100g Rice krispies
