About the bake
These cute Chocolate Nutella Mice bring back wonderful childhood memories of pick n mix. These chocolate mice contain a sweet surprise - a chocolate Nutella ganache filling. They make a great gift to share with loved ones and are not as complicated to make as you may think. You'll need a silicone mice mould to make these treats, but any silicone mould will work.
Method
Step 1:
You will need a silicone mice mould for this recipe.
Step 2:
Melt 100g of the chocolate and using a teaspoon, coat the inside of the moulds making sure that all of the tiny areas are covered i.e ears.
Step 3:
Place the moulds in the fridge to set for 15-20 minutes.
Step 4:
Place the nutella in a medium bowl and in a small saucepan bring the cream to a boil.
Step 5:
Pour the warm cream over the Nutella and stir the mixture until it becomes glossy.
Step 6:
Spoon the ganache to fill each mould and place back in the fridge to set.
Step 7:
Melt the remaining chocolate and fill the remaining space in the mould to seal in the ganache. Place the mould back in the fridge to chill. Any leftover ganache can be chilled in the fridge.
Step 8:
Once the chocolates are set, carefully remove them from the mould.

Recipe Reviews
How long can you keep these as I want to make foe christmas
I would recommend making this a maximum week or two ahead of when you want to enjoy them as they will need to be stored in the fridge to avoid melting.
Ideal for a child’s school project
Amazing
Love the idea !! Looks yum
Lovely filling for chocolate mice. Ideal for children as does not contain alcohol. However for adults add hazelnut liqueur to ganache and use to fill chocolates.
