About the bake
Whether you are pro-air fryer or new to this type of baking, you are going to want to try our air fryer brownie recipe. All the yumminess of a classic chocolate brownie recipe but baked in a handy air fryer.
Method
Step 1:
Preheat the air fryer to 180ºC and line the base of a 7-inch round tin with baking paper.
Step 2:
Measure the chocolate and butter together in a glass bowl. Microwave for 60-90 seconds and stir until the mixture is smooth and melted. Set aside to cool.
Step 3:
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk the two sugars and eggs together for 3-4 minutes until thick and foamy.
Step 4:
Sift the flour into the whisked eggs and pour in the melted chocolate mixture. Fold together until the brownie mixture is combined.
Step 5:
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 6:
Pour the mixture into the baking tin and cover with foil.
Step 7:
Place the tin inside the air fryer basket and cook for 20 minutes at 180ºC. Carefully remove the foil and cook for a further 5-10 minutes. The brownies should look set on top but jiggle slightly in the middle. TIP: the baking tin and foil will be very hot! Use oven gloves or wear marigolds when removing from the air fryer to prevent burns.
Step 8:
Carefully remove the baking tin and leave to cool for 30 minutes at room temperature. Then place in the fridge for at least 2 hours before slicing into triangles. Enjoy!
